Waterway 56f 4HP Wet End Assembly (2.5 x 2)
Genuine direct replacement Waterway 56 Frame pump wet end with an internal 4hp rated impeller. This is the less common model that has a larger 2.5-inch inlet and 2-inch outlet plumbing union connections. 2-inch and 2.5- inch are just plumbing terms the diameters of the threaded connections are 78mm x 93mm.
This type of Waterway wet end is found on 2hp Waterway Executive hot tub pumps here in the UK & Europe.
This complete Waterway wet end includes the following items:
- Impeller – 4hp
- Faceplate with 3 bleed screws
- Housing (Rear Volute)
- Ceramic mechanical shaft seal
- All associated internal O’ Rings
Pump Wet End Overview
- Wet End Rotation – All pump wet ends can be installed onto pump motors in three positions, 12 O’clock, 3 O’clock or 9 O’clock easily so that they can attach to your spas plumbing unions.
- Side Discharge – This means the inlet (suction) and outlet (Discharge) are offset from one another. When you look directly at the face of the wet end you will see that the outlet is positioned off to one side in comparison to the inlet and not directly in-line.
- Larger Suction (inlet) – This is the less common Waterway wet end that has the larger 2.5″ suction on the faceplate.
- Fitment – Wet end is attached to an EMG motor by four small 5/16″ bolts. Sold separately.
- These 4hp 56 Frame Waterway wet ends can be bolted onto any 56 frame motors used with Waterway pumps. Will fit motors made by brands such as EMG, EME, AO Smith, Franklin Electric, Century Laser, US Motors & Emerson. Does NOT fit Chinese manufactured motors from LX pumps.
